I can shoot Senior photos using either digital or film cameras. The digital camera I use is a Canon EOS 5D, a pro camera with almost 13 megapixel resolution. My experience is that most Seniors like the immediate feedback of digital photos, since that way they can quickly determine if they like the pose or background. If the photo isn't to your liking I can erase it and try again, so I actually shoot far more photos during your session than with I do with film. With film the only feedback occurs after the photos are actually printed. The choice of film vs. digital is up to you, please let me know if you have any questions about the differences or advantages of one format over the other. If you opt for film, all of my Senior photo film packages are shot using a medium-format camera. The larger negative size (almost 300% the size of 35mm) means sharper image quality and the capability of enlarging any of the photos to a great degree without any noticeable loss of resolution. I offer either
"Traditional" photo packages where you pay a sitting
fee and then pick your favorite photos for enlargements and
reprints, or "Non-Traditional" packages where you
receive a 5x7 print of either 15 or 30 of your favorite shots (with a digital package), or of every photo I shoot (with a film package). You also receive all of the
negatives or digital files and copyrights. Please feel free to
contact me with any questions about the differences between the
two styles of photo packages. |
"Non Traditional" - You own the files or negativesTwo package are available - Budget and Deluxe. With both of theses packages you receive the negatives or digital files as well as the copyrights to your photos, so you can have reprints made wherever and whenever you like. I also offer special reprint pricing to those who purchase this package, at a price of $20 per unit. However, you are free to have your reprints made anywhere you choose. Price includes sitting fee. With my Digital senior packages, I will take a number of photos in a variety of poses and outfits. I then put all of the photos onto a web site where you can review the photos and pick your favorites.
