I say “the entire day” because I was with either Amy, Joey or both for pretty much the entire day.\u00a0 We started with me meeting Amy and her bridesmaids in the early afternoon at the Hotel Decca, where the ladies were getting ready.\u00a0 Then I headed for the Lake Union Cafe<\/a>, where I met up with Joey and the groomsmen.\u00a0 We were soon joined by Amy and the ladies, and had a very nice photo session at the park just down the street from the Cafe, located along the ship canal.\u00a0 Even though it was the last day of December it was not very cold, and the weather cooperated by being nice and not raining on us!\u00a0 But we did find that we had pretty much run out of daylight by the time we were finished at the park, and the walk back to the Cafe was in near darkness.<\/p>\n The wedding was fantastic, and the reception was even better.\u00a0 Great food, good music and lots of dancing, hard to imagine a much better party!\u00a0 One of my favorite touches was when the couple arranged for a delivery of Dick’s cheeseburgers at 10PM to give the partygoers a little extra energy to help take the party into the New Year.<\/p>\n Sadly, the party did finally have to come to an end, but what a great way to ring out the old year and ring in the new!<\/p>\n
