{"id":12865,"date":"2018-05-12T21:34:00","date_gmt":"2018-05-13T04:34:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/?p=12865"},"modified":"2018-05-12T21:34:00","modified_gmt":"2018-05-13T04:34:00","slug":"happy-first-wedding-anniversary-devon-and-william","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/happy-first-wedding-anniversary-devon-and-william\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy First Wedding Anniversary Devon and William"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Happy First wedding Anniversary to Devon and William!<\/h1>\n<p>Wow, hard to believe that a year has already gone by since I photographed the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/seattle-courthouse-elopement-wedding-devon-william\/\">wedding of William and Devon at the Seattle Municipal Courthouse<\/a>.\u00a0 I remember this wedding very well, because we really lucked out with the weather for our post-wedding photo session at Kerry Park on Queen Anne Hill.\u00a0 There was a nasty thunderstorm most of the afternoon on the Eastside but Seattle was mostly spared, with just a bit of wind.<\/p>\n<p>Devon and William had a pretty large group for a Courthouse elopement wedding, and we ended up being given the Jury Selection Room for the ceremony.\u00a0 This is a beautiful space with huge windows looking out to the south and west, with the Smith Tower so close that you almost feel like you can touch it.\u00a0 After a very nice ceremony we got a lot of group photos at the Courthouse, and then I took Devon and William to Kerry Park.\u00a0 The rather uncertain weather had the very happy effect of scaring away many of the tourists who would normally have been at the park to admire the view, and we were able to take a lot of photos with very few problems with what I call &#8220;unintentional photo-bombers&#8221; managing to show up in the background of the photos.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>What a fun day!\u00a0 William and Devon have since moved to New York, and I hope that they are having a nice celebration today!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Chang-098.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-12870 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Chang-098.jpg\" alt=\"Bride and groom in the hallway outside the room where they will be married at the Seattle Municipal Courthouse\" width=\"667\" height=\"1000\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Chang-098.jpg 667w, https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Chang-098-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Chang-098-300x450.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 667px) 100vw, 667px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><script>\/\/ <![CDATA[ (function(i,s,o,g,r,a,m){i['GoogleAnalyticsObject']=r;i[r]=i[r]||function(){ (i[r].q=i[r].q||[]).push(arguments)},i[r].l=1*new Date();a=s.createElement(o), m=s.getElementsByTagName(o)[0];a.async=1;a.src=g;m.parentNode.insertBefore(a,m) })(window,document,'script','\/\/www.google-analytics.com\/analytics.js','ga'); ga('create', 'UA-6691534-1', 'auto'); ga('send', 'pageview'); \/\/ ]]><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy First wedding Anniversary to Devon and William!
