{"id":15016,"date":"2019-06-08T14:19:58","date_gmt":"2019-06-08T21:19:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/?p=15016"},"modified":"2019-06-08T14:19:58","modified_gmt":"2019-06-08T21:19:58","slug":"happy-first-wedding-anniversary-angie-and-david","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/happy-first-wedding-anniversary-angie-and-david\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy First Wedding Anniversary Angie and David"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Happy First Wedding Anniversary to Angie and David!<\/h1>\n<p>It was just a year ago that I had the pleasure of being the photographer at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/fantastic-seattle-area-wedding-at-willows-lodge\/\">the wedding of Angie and David, held at Willows Lodge in Woodinville<\/a>.\u00a0 This was a fantastic wedding.\u00a0 Willows Lodge is a wonderful venue for a wedding, and we lucked out with a gorgeous late-springtime day which made the conditions for an outdoor ceremony about as perfect as you could ask for.<\/p>\n<p>David is originally from Mexico, and his family made the trip to Seattle for the wedding.\u00a0 This gave me a chance to try to practice my once-decent command of Spanish; sadly I discovered that while I could still understand most of a conversation I have mostly lost my Spanish vocabulary.\u00a0 But it was still fun talking with David&#8217;s Mexican relatives and friends.<\/p>\n<p>I had also worked with David and Angie a few months previously on their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/kerry-park-and-seattle-center-engagement-session\/\">engagement photos, which we did at the Seattle Center and Kerry Park<\/a>.\u00a0 We had a great time during this session, so I was sure that it was going to be a fun time working with them at the wedding as well.\u00a0 And as it turned out I was completely correct.<\/p>\n<p>So congratulations to Angie and David for making it through their first year of marriage, which I believe means that they no longer qualify to be referred to as &#8220;newlyweds&#8221;.\u00a0 I&#8217;m looking forward to working with them again when they are ready for some family photos!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13083\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Willows-Lodge-Wedding-021.jpg\" alt=\"David and Angie pose near a gorgeous pond with their best man and maid of honor before their wedding ceremony at Willows Lodge.
