{"id":15174,"date":"2019-07-31T10:24:09","date_gmt":"2019-07-31T17:24:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/?p=15174"},"modified":"2019-07-29T10:26:04","modified_gmt":"2019-07-29T17:26:04","slug":"happy-first-wedding-anniversary-norma-and-jeff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/happy-first-wedding-anniversary-norma-and-jeff\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy First Wedding Anniversary Norma and Jeff"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Happy First Wedding Anniversary Wishes for Norma and Jeff<\/h1>\n<p>Time certainly does fly by!\u00a0 Just a year ago <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/norma-and-jeffs-wonderful-seattle-wedding-at-palisade\/\">Jeff and Norma were married at Palisade Restaurant<\/a>, you can see my original blog post (with lots of photos) by clicking on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/norma-and-jeffs-wonderful-seattle-wedding-at-palisade\/\">this link<\/a>.\u00a0 While it has been a year since the wedding I remember it very well.\u00a0 We started the day by meeting at Kerry Park, with not only Norma and Jeff but their entire wedding party.\u00a0 The Best Man and Matron of Honor were their friends Blaise and Rhonda Prebo, the groomsmen were Jeff\u2019s sons Carter and Conrad, and the bridesmaids were Norma\u2019s daughters Allison and Lizzie.\u00a0 This was a slightly unusual wedding for me in that even though Jeff and Norma both live in Seattle, we had not met until the wedding day.\u00a0 Everything had been set up by phone and email!\u00a0 This is pretty common with couples who are coming to Seattle for their wedding but live some distance away, but has only happened a handful of times for me with local couples.<\/p>\n<p>Right after our Kerry Park photo session we headed straight for Palisade, located on Elliot Bay at the south end of Magnolia.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/palisaderestaurant.com\/weddings-at-palisade.php\">Palisade has a separate building for wedding and events called the Alani Room<\/a>, which is where the wedding and reception took place.\u00a0 I love this venue, not just because it is a great place for photos (which it is!) but also because the Palisade staff is always wonderful to work with.\u00a0 And the fantastic food doesn&#8217;t hurt either!<\/p>\n<p>The reception featured one of the best dancing crowds that I have encountered in more than 35 years of wedding photography, and well over 1200 weddings that I have photographed.\u00a0 They just kept on dancing, and dancing hard!\u00a0 It was a fantastic party, and everyone there clearly had a wonderful time.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-13464 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Seattle-wedding-photographer-Palisades-wedding-029.jpg\" alt=\"Seattle outdoor waterfront wedding ceremony held at Palisade restaurant, with a backdrop of the marina and Alki Point\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Seattle-wedding-photographer-Palisades-wedding-029.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Seattle-wedding-photographer-Palisades-wedding-029-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Seattle-wedding-photographer-Palisades-wedding-029-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><script>\/\/ <![CDATA[ (function(i,s,o,g,r,a,m){i['GoogleAnalyticsObject']=r;i[r]=i[r]||function(){ (i[r].q=i[r].q||[]).push(arguments)},i[r].l=1*new Date();a=s.createElement(o), m=s.getElementsByTagName(o)[0];a.async=1;a.src=g;m.parentNode.insertBefore(a,m) })(window,document,'script','\/\/www.google-analytics.com\/analytics.js','ga');
