{"id":15380,"date":"2019-09-03T10:37:38","date_gmt":"2019-09-03T17:37:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/?p=15380"},"modified":"2019-09-03T10:37:38","modified_gmt":"2019-09-03T17:37:38","slug":"happy-first-wedding-anniversary-epiphany-and-jesse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/happy-first-wedding-anniversary-epiphany-and-jesse\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy First Wedding Anniversary Epiphany and Jesse"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Happy Anniversary Epiphany and Jesse!<\/h1>\n<p>Just a year ago on September 1, 2018 I photographed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/incredible-samoan-theme-wedding-at-clearwater-casino-resort\/\">Epiphany and Jesse&#8217;s amazing wedding at the Clearwater Resort<\/a> (click on the link to see the entire wedding!).\u00a0 This wedding was the highlight of my 2018 wedding season, and ranks right at the top of the 1200 plus weddings that I have photographed over my career.<\/p>\n<p>The wedding had a strong Samoan theme, reflecting Epiphany&#8217;s ancestry, and this showed up in numerous parts of the wedding and reception.\u00a0 I have been photographing weddings for almost 40 years and I have never seen dancing like I saw at this reception!\u00a0 The photo below shows Epiphany, dressed in traditional Samoan attire, during the craziest Money Dance I have ever photographed!\u00a0 If you look closely you&#8217;ll also see Jesse, a bit behind Epiphany on the left side of the photo, and also dressed appropriately for this dance.\u00a0 What a fantastic party!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14068\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Samoan-destination-wedding-Clearwater-Casino-072.jpg\" alt=\"Bride Epiphany, dressed in traditional Samoan attire, performs a special dance during her wedding reception at the Clearwater Resort.
