{"id":16355,"date":"2020-05-15T14:56:20","date_gmt":"2020-05-15T21:56:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/?p=16355"},"modified":"2020-05-18T12:29:18","modified_gmt":"2020-05-18T19:29:18","slug":"happy-first-seattle-wedding-anniversary-mandy-and-james","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/happy-first-seattle-wedding-anniversary-mandy-and-james\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy First Seattle Wedding Anniversary Mandy and James"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Happy First Wedding Anniversary Wishes to Mandy and James<\/h1>\n<p>Have any of you found that with the current changes in how we are able to live our lives due to the Coronavirus that the passage of time seems to have changed?\u00a0 I have a hard time believing that it has already been over a year since<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/elopement-wedding-at-the-seattle-courthouse\/\"> James and Mandy were married in an elopement ceremony at the Seattle Municipal Courthouse<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This wedding was a perfect example of why it is important to arrive early when you&#8217;re eloping at the Seattle Courthouse.\u00a0 On a nice spring day it is not uncommon to have 10 or more couples show up to get married, and since judges are available on a &#8220;first come, first served&#8221; basis if you are not there early you can have a long wait before a judge is available to perform the ceremony.\u00a0 In this case the problem was an Uber driver who for some reason did not show up when expected, leading to a rather lengthy wait before Mandy and James were able to finally get married.<\/p>\n<p>We took advantage of this time to get lots of photos with Mandy, James and the assorted family and friends who had come to be a part of the wedding.\u00a0 And as it turned out, we were able to spend more time for the ceremony and subsequent photos on the Courthouse rooftop since we were the final wedding of the day.<\/p>\n<p>After the wedding was finished we drove to nearby Gas Works Park and had plenty of time to walk the park and get a lot of wonderful photos of the group.\u00a0 I hope that you&#8217;ll click on the link above and visit the wedding post to see more of the photos.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-14903 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/seattle-courthouse-elopement-wedding-33.jpg\" alt=\"Mandy and James at Gas Works Park after their elopement wedding ceremony at the Seattle Municipal Courthouse.
