In spite of what we have all been going through for the last three-plus months with COVID and the massive disruption it has had on our lives, time keeps marching on.\u00a0 While I have trouble believing that it has already been a year since Jake and Yoshimi were married, it also feels a bit like this wedding took place in another time entirely.\u00a0 I think that most of you know exactly what I mean so I won’t elaborate any further about this.<\/p>\n
The wedding took place on June 1, 2019 and was the kick-off to the summer wedding season.\u00a0 You can see the original post (and lots of photos) by clicking on this link<\/a>. We lucked out with a day that began quite overcast but cleared off and became sunny and very pleasant.\u00a0 This was an extra special wedding for me because I had been the photographer at Yoshimi’s sister Manami’s wedding just a couple of years earlier<\/a>, so I had a chance to reconnect with Manami and her husband Sam as well as a lot of the family members and wedding party who had been at the earlier wedding.\u00a0 I love being able to catch up with people this way!\u00a0 As it turned out, the wedding party was almost exactly the same as at Manami and Sam’s wedding, with the biggest difference being the change of bride and groom.\u00a0 Talk about Deja Vu!<\/p>\n I just want to take this opportunity to send my best wishes for a Happy Wedding Anniversary to Yoshimi and Jake, and to hope that they have many more.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n![\"Bride](\"https:\/\/www.tomellisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Seattle-area-church-wedding-photography-019.jpg\")
