We had discussed taking engagement photos during the spring if the weather cooperated, and Joanne thought that getting some spring blooming trees in the photos would be fun. So I met Joanne and John at the University of Washington to take some engagement photos on campus, hoping to take advantage of the cherry trees that were blooming. But we were a bit surprised to find that a LOT of other people had the same idea to see (and photograph) the cherry trees, and there were ~1000 people in the area with the trees. So we made the best of it and got some nice photos, and also did a bit of wandering around the campus looking for other good spots for some photos.
