Here are a few photos from the 2015 Puget Sound Buddy Walk, run by the Down Syndrome Community\u00a0and held on October 5 at the Seattle Center.\u00a0\u00a0To see the entire set of ~200\u00a0photos please visit my Picasa page<\/a>. \u00a0The photos there can all be downloaded free of charge, and I\u00a0welcome and encourage you to do so. \u00a0These photos\u00a0are high enough resolution to make a decent print. \u00a0If there are any specific photos that you would like in higher\u00a0resolution just contact me and I\u00a0will send you the file.<\/p>\n

Once again some members of the\u00a0local Star Wars costuming people\u00a0from the 501st Legion of Garrison Titan<\/a>\u00a0were on hand and made themselves available for photos with the kids (and a lot of adults too!). \u00a0 These people have been wonderful about showing up for this event every year, and staying until the end so the kids can be photographed with them. \u00a0Some of them even do the actual Walk with the families and kids!<\/p>\n

I don’t know what the official attendance was for the Buddy Walk this year, but it looked to me like the biggest crowd ever. \u00a0When the actual Walk began, I was amazed how many people were involved, had to be well over a thousand. \u00a0And we lucked out with a gorgeous fall day, perfect conditions to hang out in the sunshine and make some new friends.<\/p>\n
