I had a great engagement/pre-wedding photo session last weekend with Hau and Kerry, at JB Family Growers in Woodinville. The couple actually got married alst summer in a civil ceremony, but they have another wedding for their friends and family to attend planned for early September. And they never had a chance for an engagement session earlier, so this shoot was meant to cover a lot of bases all at the same time!
As you’ll immediately see, we had very sunny weather for our session. For a photographer, this is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good because there is plenty of light and noworry about rain, but bad because it was so bright that squinting and shadows/bright spots become a possible issue.
Very pretty place for photos, and fortunately we did not have too many others there at the same time to act as photo bombers. The three of us walked the gardens for about an hour, looking for good spots for photos and getting to know each other a bit. Kerry and Hau are really nice guys, and I enjoyed our time together. I’m really looking forward to the wedding in September!
