Happy First Wedding Anniversary Laura and Jimmy

This was another wedding that very nearly was unable to take place in Summer 2020 due to Covid restrictions.  Laura and Jimmy had made plans to have their wedding while the state was allowing groups of up to 30 for events such as weddings, but then Governor Inslee announced that he was changing the rules and restricting groups to no more than 5.  I got a panicked email from Laura asking if I could be available at short notice due to the change in Covid rules.  Fortunately I had no conflicts and was able to be there on the new date.

The wedding turned out great, as you can see by clicking on this link to my original blog post of the day.  I really liked the venue, Rock Creek Gardens in Puyallup, a location that was new to me.  Lots of great places for photos, which is always going to make a photographer happy!

As our state is once again staring to add new restrictions I am so happy for couples like Jimmy and Laura who managed to have their wedding in spite of all the obstacles.
