Seattle elopement photography at Alki Point

I got a phone call from Ian in early September.  He and his partner were eloping in Seattle on September 12 and needed a photographer.  They also needed a place to get married – neither is from Seattle, they actually live in Las Vegas but were coming to Seattle to get married!  The irony there is just too good to pass on mentioning. I asked what kind of location they had in mind, and was told they would like a nice view of Puget Sound.  So I told them about a spot on Alki Point that I frequently use for photo sessions, and that I thought would be perfect for their elopement.  We met there, along with the officiant Pat Stimac of A Heavenly Ceremony, and three of Ian and Jeff’s close friends who had driven up from Portland for the wedding.  Here are a few photos from the time we spent together that afternoon.
