Becca’s Bat Mitzvah in Woodinville and Bellevue

On June 22, 2013 Becca Zion celebrated her Bat Mitzvah.  The ceremony took place at Bear Creek United Methodist Church in Woodinville, and the reception and party at the Robinswood House in Bellevue.

The day began at Bear Creek United Methodist; I realize it seems odd to have a Bat Mitzvah at a Christian church instead of a Jewish Temple, but the Bear Creek church is shared by many denominations.  Becca did an outstanding job during the ceremony, which was attended by well over 100 friends and family members.

The party was held that evening in Bellevue at the beautiful Robinswood House.  Near perfect early summer weather made the outdoor reception extremely pleasant, and all who were there had a great time.  I especially liked Becca’s cake; she is a big Dr. Who fan, and her cake was decorated with a Tardis.  For those of you who have no clue what I am talking about, I suggest you look up some episodes of Dr Who!
