Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! The Seattle area is one of the most wonderful locations in the world for your wedding ceremony and reception. The variety of wedding venues is simply incredible. You have your choice of some gorgeous public parks, a number of public and private facilities that specialize in weddings, 5-Star hotels and resorts - what more could you ask for? Whatever you want for your venue, you should be able to find it in the greater Seattle area

Following are a few photos from some of my favorite Seattle area venues.

The Salish Lodge

The world-famous Salish is an incredibly picturesque location for your wedding and reception. Located about 40 minutes from Seattle at Snoqualmie Falls. Indoor and outdoor options are available. Stay the night and enjoy the amazing brunch!

Kerry Park

Located on Queen Anne Hill, this is one of the most photographed locations in Washington. The view of Seattle Center and the Space Needle, with Mt. Rainier in the background, are almost too perfect to believe. You can't have a very large ceremony here, and there are no reception facilities. But for a beautiful location for a wedding it is hard to beat!

Kubota Gardens

Located in south Seattle, the Kubota Gardens is a Seattle public park. There are several possible places in the park for a wedding ceremony, though there are no full-time covered facilities. An absolutely stunning Japanese garden built by the Kubota family over several decades, this is another location that just screams for lots of photos!

Kiana Lodge

Located just a short ferry ride across Puget Sound from Seattle, the Kiana Lodge is an all-season wedding venue offering beautiful grounds and wonderful facilities for both weddings and receptions. Have your wedding on the lawn if the weather is nice, or in the spacious Garden Atrium if the weather is less cooperative. Either way this is a wonderful choice for your wedding!

Newcastle Golf Club

Located across Lake Washington, the Newcastle Golf Club is only a short drive from downtown Seattle. Perhaps the best views in the Seattle area. Facilities for anything from a very small to a very large wedding and reception, the Newcastle Golf Club is one of the premier wedding venues in the Pacific Northwest.

Skansonia Ferry

The Skansonia is an old ferryboat that has been turned into one of the more unique wedding and reception venues in Seattle. Located on Lake Union, the boat offers a lovely outdoor area that can be used for both the wedding and reception, as well as a spacious indoor area that makes this an all-season facility.

Shilshole Bay Beach Club

Located on Shilshole Bay in Ballard, this is another of the more scenic venues for a wedding in Seattle. Looking west across Puget Sound is the Olympic Mountain range. The summer sunsets are always spectacular. Another venue worth checking out when planning your Seattle wedding.
